I kicked the wall as I ran to the bathroom and covered my mouth so I wouldn't yell. I barely made it to the toilet in time to throw up. I couldn't remember the last time I had gotten so sick after drinking.
"Hey. You okay?" Luken whispered.
"No." I wined. "Did I wake anyone up?" I asked.
"No, doesn't look like it." He said. He walked over to me and pulled my hair out of my face.
"Thanks. I think I'm done though." I said.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah. Can you get me some water from the kitchen?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Of course." He said and left. I stood up and felt shakey, but a lot better. I brushed my teath and then went back to my room and climbed in bed. Luken came back holding a glass of water and laughing.
"What is so funny?" I asked.
"Stuart is curled up on the couch with that girl from your school. He's sucking his thumb." He wispered, trying so hard not to laugh really loud.
"What?" I asked.
"Come see if you can." He whispered. I got up and tip toed out to the living room. Sure enough Stuart was laying on the couch with his arm around Melissa, a girl from my arts class the semester before. He had his thumb in his mouth.
"Do you have a camera?" Luken asked me.
"Yeah. I think Ceci and Jasmine had it earlier." I said.
"There it is." I told him, and pointed to the liquor table. He grabbed it and turned it on. I took it from him and took the picture. Surprisingly no one woke up from the flash. Luken and I were turning red from trying to hold in our laughter. We rushed back to the room and climbed in bed.
"That is the funniest thing I've ever seen!" Luken said after letting himself have a good laugh.
"No shit. We should get some sleep now." I told him.
"Good idea. Are you sure you are okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I told him, then kissed his cheek. I rolled over on my side, and he scooted up behind me and put his arm around me. I feel asleep soon after.

When we got up the next morning everyone was gone except for Jasmine, Mark, and Stuart.
"Oh boy do we have a photo for you." Luken said, picking up my camera.
"What?" Stuart asked and walked over to Luken. Luken pulled the camera away so Stuart couldn't see and showed Jasmine and Mark. They both started laughing histaricly.
"What? Show me!" Stuart shouted and punched Luken in the arm.
"Ow! I'm still brised there asshole!" Luken said, and gave him the camera.
"What the fuck!" Stuart shouted.
"Miss your mommy?" Mark asked in a baby voice. Jasmine and I were trying to hold each other up we were laughing so hard.
"I can so kick your ass man." Stuart said, and Mark turned around so he couldn't see him laughing.
"Come on, its hilarious." Luken said, and Stuart finally let out a laugh.
"Yeah, I guess it is." Stuart said.
"Well, we are gonna head out." Mark said. "Do you want to go get breakfast or something?" Jasmine asked me.
"No thanks. I kind of just want to lay around the house." I told her.
"Mind if I lay around with you?" Luken asked, and put his arms around my waist.
"No, I don't mind." I said.
"Well I'm leaving with these guys." Stuart said.
"Alright. I'll see you later." Luken said. We all said goodbye and they left. Luken turned me around so I was facing him and kissed me. I closed my eyes and let him kiss me for a few minutes. Suddenly there was a loud, rapid knock on my door.
"We keep getting interrupted." Luken said.
"Or falling asleep." I said, and he smiled.
"Sorry." He mouthed. I opened the door and shut it right away.
"Please let me talk to you!" Tracy yelled.
"Who is it?" Luken asked, concerned.
"It's Tracy." I said. Luken walked to the door and opened it.
"What do you want?" Luken asked. Tracy froze.
"I-I...I don't want any trouble. I really need to talk to-to Austin." He said.
"Yeah. Last time someone said that I ended up with two broken ribs." Luken said, and started to shut the door.
"PLEASE! It's TAYLOR! He's in trouble!" Tracy shouted. I put my hand on Lukens arm and told him to go ahead and let Tracy in. When Tracy walked in, Luken shut and locked the door. Tracy looked really nervous.
"I should call the police just for you showing up here." I told him.
"Please! I'm sorry about what happened." Tracy said.
"I don't care. What the fuck do you want?" I asked him, starting to get really angry.
"They sent Taylor to a psych ward after the-" He stopped and looked at Luken, then back at me. "After the fight. He flipped a lid after the night you followed us." He looked down at the floor. Like he was ashamed or something.
"Yeah. Thats not exactly what I would call what happened, but whatever." I said.
"He tried to kill himself at the station when they were holding us." Tracy said.
"Damn, he didn't succeed?" I asked, bitterly. Tracy sighed, and swollowed hard.
"You gotta do something-"
"FUCK YOU TRACY! Taylor is NOT my fucking PROBLEM!" I shouted at him, and felt my eyes tear up.
"I think you should go." Luken said, and opened the door behind Tracy.
"Please! He's staying at Serenity Ridge." He said as Luken pushed him out the door. Luken shut it and we heard Tracy walk down the stairs. I walked over to the couch and sat down crying.
Luken sat down next to me and held me.
"It's okay. You don't have to worry about him." Luken said.
"I know. Tracy has always followed Taylor around like a little puppy or something. To see him so upset makes me wonder just how bad off Taylor really is." I said.
"You believe him?" Luken asked.
"Yeah. He was never any good at lying." I said.
"What are you going to do?" Luken asked me.
"I don't know." I said. I wanted to run to Taylor. To make sure he was alright. But I know the Taylor that was in the ward, was not the same Taylor I used to love.
"Are you really thinking about going to see him?" Luken asked.
"If I am or not, isn't it up to me?" I asked him.
"Sorry." He said.
"It's okay." I said. I walked to the kitchen and took some tylenol to get rid of my headache.
"Should I go?" Luken asked. I didn't want him too, but I did need time to think.
"If you want to." I told him, and he looked kind of disapointed.
"I'm sorry. I've got a lot to think about suddenly." I told him.
"It's okay, I understand. Call me if you need anything. And call me if you do go. You shouldn't go alone." He said, and hugged me.
"Okay." I told him.
"Bye." He said, and kissed my forehead.
"Bye." I answered, and then he left. I walked to my room and picked up my phone to call my mom. I was halfway through dialing the number, and stopped. I felt a wave of sadness. My mom had died 3 years ago.
"Old Habbits." I said to myself and layed down on my bed.
"What do I do mom?" I asked out loud. As if answering me, my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Austin?"
"Yeah."
"It's me. Dryden." Dryden was my older brother. Well, my half brother. We ahd different fathers. I hadn't seen him since shortly after my mom died.
"Dryden? Oh my god. How are you?" I asked.
"I'm back in Boston. I was out in California for a while." He said.
"I didn't think I'd ever see you again. Not after mom-" I stopped. It was still hard to say she was dead.
"Yeah, well I'm back. It took a little bit of tracking to get your number. You aren't with Taylor anymore?" He asked.
"No. How did you know?" I asked him.
"I stopped by your old place. Nance and Todd live there now. They told me you guys hadn't been there for a few months, but told me where you worked. So I stopped by the coffee shop and Tito recognized me and gave me your phone number." He explained.
"Wow. Mr Detective. Why don't you come over. I could use someone to talk to right now." I said.
"Sure. Just give me the address and I'll be on my way." He told me. After I gave him directions and hung up the phone I jumped in the shower. Thinking about mom, and then about Taylor got me crying.
"Suck it up Austin." I whispered to myself, and calmed down. When I got out I didn't bother with make-up. I just put on some jeans and a baggy black hoodie. I layed down on the couch and waited for Dryden.
